Disc
Diffusion Inhibition Assay
Assay Results:
Methodology
The stock solution of CitroBio (Perfect Crab) was used with no dilution.
All values are in microliters and millimeters where appropriate, unless
otherwise noted. A 0.1 ml overnight culture of each of the four bacterial
strains to be tested were spread on a trypic soy agar plate until dry.
Sterile 6mm diameter by 1 mm thick glass fiber filter discs were places
4 to a plate, and labeled 10, 20, 40 and 50. Each disc was then inoculated
with the appropriate volume of the Perfect Crab stock sample (10, 20,
40 or 50 microliters). Plates were incubated at 37C for 24 hours before
zones of inhibition were measured.
Sample: CitroBio (Perfect Crab)
Organisms used: Escherichia coli , Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus,
and Micrococcus luteus
Experimental
Results
After 24 hours of incubation at 37C, the following results were obtained.
